தமிழ் இலக்கியத் தோட்டத்திற்கு 'ஒண்டாரியோ ட்ரில்லியம் ஃபவுண்டேசன்' என்னும் அறக்கட்டளையினால் $8,500 உதவித் தொகையாக இவ்வாண்டு வழங்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.  100 சமகாலத் தமிழ்க் கவிஞர்களின் கவிதைகள் 'நிலவற்ற இரவு' ("Moonless Night")  என்னும் பெயரில் வெளிவரவுள்ளது. அதற்காகவே, மேற்படி தமிழ்க் கவிதைகளை ஆங்கிலத்துக்கு மொழிபெயர்ப்பதற்காகவும், வெளியிடுவதற்காகவும்  தமிழ் இலக்கியத் தோட்டத்திற்கு இந்த உதவித்தொகை வழங்கப்படுகிறது. இத்திட்டத்தின் கீழ் உலகின் பல்வேறு நாடுகளிலும் வாழும் தமிழ்க் கவிஞர்களின் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்படும் 100 கவிதைகள் ஆங்கிலத்தில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்படும். வெளிவரும் நூலானது பொதுசன நூலகங்கள், சமுக அமைப்புகளில் மட்டுமல்லாது இணையத்திலும் விற்பனைக்கு விடப்படும். இவ்வாறு ஒண்டாரியோ டிரில்லியம் ஃபவுண்டேசன்' தனது இணையத்தளத்தில் அறிவித்திருக்கிறது. 1999 இலிருந்து இதுவரையில் பல்வேறு தமிழ் அமைப்புகளுக்கு $500,000ற்கும் அதிகமான உதவித் தொகையினை மேற்படி 'ஒண்டாரியோ ட்ரில்லியம் ஃபவுண்டேசன்' என்னும் அமைப்பு வழங்கியுள்ளது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது. உதவித் தொகை பெற்ற அமைப்புகளின் விபரங்களை  'ஒண்டாரியோ ட்ரில்லியம் ஃபவுண்டேசன்' தனது இணையத்தளத்தில் வெளியிட்டுள்ளது. யாரும் சென்று பார்க்கலாம். அதன் இணையத்தள முகவரி: http://www.otf.ca/en/index.asp

Tamil Literary Garden  11/1/2012 $8,500 over one year to preserve and showcase Tamil culture for Tamil and non-Tamil Canadians in York Region by translating and publishing a collection of 100 contemporary Tamil poems. "Moonless Night" will feature the work of modern Tamil poets and will be available through public libraries, community organizations and online.  $8,500.00

Durham Tamil Association  11/1/2010 $14,800 over one year to purchase office, sports and display equipment, which will enhance the organization's programming and enable increased participation in its activities.  $14,800.00

Senior Tamils Society of Peel  7/1/2008 $139,300 over two years for a project co-ordinator, space and equipment to help Tamil seniors overcome isolation. Outcomes will include increased volunteerism, participation in recreation and fitness programs, and education about environmental issues.  $139,300.00

Canadian Tamil Youth Development Centre  11/1/2008 $15,000 over one year to renovate the centre's office space to make it more functional, hygienic, welcoming and secure for Tamil youth living in Scarborough.  $15,000.00

Ottawa Tamil Seniors Association  3/1/2011 $30,900 over two years to build the capacity of this organization to service Tamil seniors as well as reduce isolation. The Association will establish a seniors computer literacy access program, health and cultural recreational programming, and develop a strategic plan for the organization to ensure long term viability.

Vasantham- A Tamil Seniors Wellness Centre (1999- 2000); $158,000 over three years to support a collaborative of three-community based agencies to implement a wellness program for seniors aimed at increasing coordination among service providers in the delivery of health promotion and prevention programs.
