OPEN NOMINATIONAS FOR THE 2005 AWARDS !
Dear
Colleagues, Brothers and Sisters, This is to inform you that effective
immediately the nomination committee of the NEPMCC is accepting nominations
for recognition for the year 2005. According to the rules every member
publication or radio or TV producer has the right to nominate three members
from his community for his/her volunteer work to help the advancement of
the community. The nominees can also be from the various cities of Canada
or the USA. The only restriction is that every person to be recognized
has to be present during the ceremonies to accept the honour.
At the same time the organization is open to accept nominations for recognition for the publishers or producer or even publications of the various Ethnic communities. In order to qualify a publication must be in circulation at least for five years, (last year was for ten), and has achieved the respect of the community. In this case please forward to our offices the best three copies of your publication with a letter explaining the articles and why you thing should be recognized. For Journalist or members of the communities you can submit by email a sort biographical of the persons you nominate along with a small picture of the nominee. Please forward the above as soon as possible to Cindy Gu, or Anne Dawson. This year we would also recognize a number of politicians for the help they rendered in order to promote our causes, together with four members of the Diplomatic Corps of Canada, for their successful service to Canadians. If you believe that someone must be nominated, please do so.
