 ONTARIO HOLDS COMMEMORATIVE
CEREMONY TO HONOUR THE MEMORY OF THE VICTIMS OF THE DECEMBER 26, 2004,
EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI DISASTER!
 The Hon. Dalton McGuinty,
Premier of Ontario, has announced that on Saturday, January 8, Ontario
will hold a commemorative ceremony to honour the memory of the victims
of the December 26, 2004, earthquake and tsunami disaster.
 Date:   Saturday,
January 8, 2005
Time:   12
noon to 1 pm
 Location: South steps, 
Legislative Building, Queen’s Park,  Toronto
 The ceremony will include
remarks by the Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario, the Premier, the Speaker
of the Ontario Legislature, and interfaith representatives.  The MC
will be OMNI Television’s Indira Naidoo-Harris.
 The ceremony will include
the observance of two minutes of silence.

Transportation: 
Participants are encouraged to take public transit.
