An exhibition of
Tamil contemporary art
in Jaffna.
 In
order to pulsate the local Art scene and strengthen the bonds
within the Tamil artist community in Sri Lanka and abroad. Kalai
Vattam of the Jaffna
University is planning to organize an exhibition of contemporary art
at the University in January 2004. If this happens as per our plans
this will not only a shearing space for artist but also a historical event.
Therefore as a curator of the show I am inviting artist living abroad to
participate in this exhibition. We are expecting five works from each artists.(this
can be prints /paintings /drawings). And the works should be framed and
reach us on or before 5th of January 2004 to the following address.
