Lilly was a little girl who lived in a house with her
mom and dad. One day, her teacher told her that she was picked to join the
Spelling Bee Contest. Lilly was very nervous and scared. Suddenly, she heard
something talk to her. She turned around but nobody was there. Who is talking
  to me? Lilly was thinking.
Then she heard it again, “Hey, I am down here!” So Lilly looked down on her
chair. She couldn’t believe it. It was a talking bee.

The bee said, “So, I heard that you are in the Spelling Bee.”

“Yea, but I don’t think I am going to go. I’m scared,” said Lilly.

“May be I can help you,” said the Bee. “I am a Spelling Bee.”

“How can you help me?” asked Lilly.

“I will stand on your shoulder, and when it’s your turn, I will whisper the
word in your ear,” said the bee.

 “Great idea,” said Lilly.

When it was the day of the Spelling bee, the bee told Lilly, “Do you know what
  to do?”

 “Yeah,” said Lilly.

When it was Lilly’s turn at the Spelling bee, the bee whispered the word in
her ear, every time. It turns out, that Lilly was the winner at the Spelling
bee. When she got the trophy, she felt guilty because the bee told her how to
spell the words. Lilly didn’t even know how to spell the words that they asked
  her to spell.

“I can’t accept this trophy,” Lilly said.

“I cheated. Someone whispered in my ear how to spell the words, and the person
who whispered the words in my ear isn’t even a person. It’s a bee”.

Everyone was surprised, but it was true. So Lilly gave the bee their trophy.
Lilly was happy. Yes, she cheated, but she told the truth. From that day,
Lilly learned her lesson: not to cheat.
