WORD ON THE STREET BOOK AND MAGAZINE FESTIVAL

To all the members of the Ethnic Media of Canada: Dear Friends and Colleagues, Brothers and Sisters, Please be advised that Sunday September the 25th, 2005 takes place at Toronto’s Queen’s Park the fifteenth “The Word on the Street Festival”. The National Ethnic Press and Media Council of Canada is participating, as every previous years, this year with a booth with information about the ethnic press and its role in the Canadian Media. To this extend I would like to invite all of you to please come down and bring ten or twenty copies of your latest edition to be displayed at our booth.

Our Booth number is W 11, and we share a tent with the Canadian Journalists for free expression, in the area of the Canadian writers block.

Brother Ahmad Shah Hotaki is our special agent, (organizer) of this event and you can call him in order to make arrangements for your participation.

The exhibition starts at 10.30 am until 6.00 pm. 

I am taking also this opportunity to invite you to visit us. I personally will be there and I will be glad to shake hand with all our brothers and sisters in the Industry. Hope to see you there on Sunday September the 25th, 2005, in the parquet behind the main legislative building at Queen’s Park, in Toronto.
