Newcomers to Canada benefit from Library Settlement 
Partnerships 
  The 
Library Settlement Partnerships (LSP) program is a partnership between 
Citizenship and Immigration Canada, public libraries and newcomer settlement 
agencies throughout Ontario. Settlement workers provide newcomers with 
information on how to find a job and access to library resources to launch their 
new lives in Ontario. Media are invited to tour the newly renovated Thorncliffe 
Branch Library in Toronto and interview newcomers who have benefited from the 
Library Settlement Partnerships program. Photographs and video are permitted.
